Every kid deserves to be heard

If any of these ring true, you're not alone — and early support makes a real difference.

Late to talk

They're not hitting speech milestones and you're starting to worry. Other kids their age seem so much further ahead.

Hard to understand

Family and friends struggle to understand what your child is saying. It's frustrating for everyone — especially them.

Struggling with reading

School's getting harder. Reading and writing aren't clicking, and homework is turning into a nightly battle.

Social challenges

Making friends doesn't come easy. They struggle to join in, take turns, or read social cues with other kids.

You know your child best. If something feels off, trust that instinct — the earlier we start, the better the outcome.

Common Questions

Everything you need to know

At what age should I be concerned about my child's speech?

Every child develops at their own pace, but there are general milestones to watch for. If your child isn't babbling by 12 months, using single words by 18 months, or combining words by 2 years, it's worth having a chat. The earlier we can assess, the better the outcomes.

Do you offer NDIS-funded sessions?

Yes! We're a registered NDIS provider and can work with your plan. Whether you're plan-managed or self-managed, we can help you use your funding for speech pathology services.

What does a session look like?

For kids, therapy looks a lot like play — and that's by design. We use games, stories, and activities tailored to your child's interests to target their specific goals. Sessions typically run for 30 to 60 minutes depending on age and needs.

Can you come to my child's school?

Absolutely. We offer school-based sessions across Broome, working directly with teachers and in the classroom environment. This can be a great option for kids who benefit from support in their learning setting.

Do you offer telehealth sessions?

Yes, we offer online sessions via video call. Telehealth works well for follow-up sessions, parent coaching, and for families in remote areas of the Kimberley who can't easily get to our Cable Beach clinic.

How long will my child need therapy?

It depends on the child and their goals. Some kids make great progress in a few months, while others benefit from longer-term support. We review progress regularly and adjust the plan as needed — you'll always know where things stand.
